At Cakes by Debbie, every cake has a story—and Neville’s 90th birthday cake was one we won’t forget!

For this special milestone, Debbie baked a triple vanilla sponge layered with smooth vanilla buttercream—a classic combination that never goes out of style. But the real magic was in the design, inspired by Neville himself.

At 90 years young, Neville still drives his Honda all the way to Switzerland, so the cake was made in bold red, complete with the iconic Honda badge front and centre. To add a playful twist, we wrapped a road around the base of the cake, hinting at Neville’s adventurous spirit and love for driving.

The finishing touch? The clients added miniature cars, including a red Porsche—Neville’s dream car—which made the whole cake feel like a joyful tribute to his passion and personality.

It was a celebration of life, independence, and the journeys that keep us young at heart. And for us, it was a privilege to be part of it.
