A customer had asked if it was possible to recreate the wedding cake from their wedding ceremony 50 years ago to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

We were given a photo of the beautiful original cake and some of the decorations that were used to decorate the cake. The recreation was made from vanilla sponges filled with a vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam.

The handmade yellow roses on the cake are a wonderful reminder of the bride’s bouquet which included yellow roses.
