Recently, Debbie was asked to create not one, but two custom cakes for a very special 60th birthday, and the brief was wonderfully unique: a pair of cakes shaped as a 6 and a 0, complete with concrete‑delivering lorries!

🧁 The Number 6: Salted Caramel & A Job in Progress

The number 6 cake was baked in our customer‑favourite salted caramel sponge—rich, smooth, and endlessly moreish. On top sat a brilliantly detailed Stur & Mix concrete lorry, hard at work delivering concrete to site.
Every element was designed to capture the birthday guest’s passion and personality, making the cake both delicious and meaningful.

🎂 The Number 0: Raspberry, White Chocolate & A Job Well Done

To complete the set, the number 0 cake featured a dreamy raspberry and white chocolate sponge, perfectly balancing sweetness with fruity sharpness.
This time, the lorry—matching the one on the first cake—had finished the pour! The concrete was already delivered, and the scene showed the job completed. A perfect visual story from cake to cake.

🚚 A Special Thanks to Crafted Layer UK

The finishing touch? Those incredible 3D‑printed Stur & Mix lorries.
These miniature vehicles were created especially for this order by CRAFTED LAYER UK, whose talent for specialist 3D prints brought the whole theme to life. Their craftsmanship added a truly bespoke detail that tied the cakes together beautifully.
