Chocolate lovers, rejoice! We have a treat for you today. Debbie has created a stunning chocolate drip sponge cake that is sure to make your mouth water. This cake is not only delicious, but also generous, as it was donated to a charity raffle to help pay for the funeral of a local lady who sadly passed away.

The cake consists of four layers of moist chocolate sponge, filled with creamy chocolate buttercream. The top and sides are covered with more chocolate buttercream, creating a smooth and even surface. Then, the magic happens. Debbie pours a rich and glossy chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides in an elegant and decadent way. The chocolate drip adds a touch of glamour and indulgence to the cake, making it look irresistible.

But wait, there’s more. Debbie doesn’t stop there. She decorates the cake with a selection of chocolate treats, such as Maltesers, Rolos, Ferrero Rocher’s, Chocolate Swirls, and more. The cake looks like a chocolate lover’s dream come true, with so many different flavours and textures to enjoy.

Debbie is very proud of this cake, and so are we. She says: “I wanted to make something special for the charity raffle, as it is for a very good cause. I know that many people love chocolate, so I thought this cake would be a hit. I had a lot of fun making it, and I hope that whoever wins it will love it too.”

The charity raffle is organised by the family and friends of a local lady, who sadly passed away last month. She was a beloved member of the community, who always helped others in need. The aim of the raffle was to raise money to cover the funeral costs and support the family in this difficult time. The raffle raised raised an incredible £2380.
