For this occasion, Debbie baked a classic vanilla sponge, light and fluffy, layered generously with smooth vanilla buttercream and a sweet strawberry jam filling. This timeless flavour combination is always a favourite with guests and perfect for a joyful celebration like a baby shower.

As the mum-to-be is expecting a baby girl, the design was kept soft, elegant and full of charm. The cake was decorated with handmade pink booties, symbolising those tiny steps soon to come. To add movement and texture, pink and white decorative balls cascade down one side of the cake, creating a modern yet playful finish that tied the whole design together beautifully.

Every element of this cake was made with care and attention to detail, from the handcrafted decorations to the perfectly balanced flavours inside. It was wonderful to be part of such a happy milestone, and we’re honoured that our cake played a small role in celebrating this exciting new chapter.
