Are you looking for a fun and delicious cake idea for your child’s birthday party? How about a chocolate sponge cake with a cute train theme? That’s what Debbie created for one of her customers, and it was a hit!

The cake was made with two layers of moist and fluffy chocolate sponge cake, sandwiched with a rich and creamy chocolate buttercream. The cake was covered with a layer of white fondant icing.

But the star of the show was the adorable train cake topper, made entirely by hand with fondant. Debbie used assorted colours of fondant to shape the train engine and the train carriages, each one with a unique design and decoration. She also added some details like windows and wheels to make the train look more realistic. The train was placed on top of the cake, along with a fondant number one!
