Debbie recently had the absolute pleasure of creating a Max Verstappen 2026 race helmet cake, and we couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. This wasn’t just any cake – it was a fully sculpted helmet design, carefully crafted to capture the bold detail and precision of a Formula 1 icon.

The cake itself was made from chocolate sponge with a delicious filling, ensuring it tasted just as good as it looked. Every element was considered not only for visual impact, but for flavour too – because what’s the point of an amazing design if it doesn’t taste incredible?

One of the standout features of this cake was the level of detail in the branding. All of the logos and sponsor details were produced using our edible printer, allowing for crisp, clean lines and faithful colour matching. This technique is perfect for highly detailed designs like racing helmets, where accuracy really matters.

From the curves of the helmet to the positioning of each logo, Debbie took real care to make sure everything was just right. It’s safe to say this cake pushed skills, patience, and creativity – and that’s exactly the kind of project we love most.
