We were contacted by a lovely lady all the way from Canada, who had discovered Debbie online while searching for the perfect cake for her daughter here in the UK. Her daughter works at the beautiful Fox-Pit horse racing stables in Dorset, so this cake needed to be extra special — a heartfelt surprise sent across the miles.

The Brief

The request was for something elegant, joyful, and delicious — with a personal touch. The cake itself was a gluten-free vanilla funfetti sponge, perfect for celebrating with a pop of colour and sweetness. Inside, we layered it with smooth vanilla buttercream and a luscious strawberry jam filling, creating that perfect balance of classic flavour and indulgence.
