We absolutely love it when a customer order gives us the chance to create something a bit special — and this latest bake was no exception.
Recently, Debbie had the pleasure of making something a little different at Cakes by Debbie HQ: a Red Velvet Cheesecake that’s every bit as indulgent as it sounds.
This beauty starts with two incredibly moist red velvet sponge layers, rich in colour and flavour. Sandwiched between them is a smooth, creamy vanilla cheesecake centre — perfectly balanced so it’s indulgent without being too heavy. The contrast between the soft red velvet sponge and the velvety cheesecake makes every bite a real treat.
To take it up another level, the cake is finished with a thick topping of cheesecake, adding an extra layer of luxury. A light sprinkling of almonds on top provides just the right amount of crunch, complementing the creaminess of the cheesecake and the softness of the sponge beneath.
This cake was a joy to create and a brilliant example of how we love pushing beyond the classics while still delivering the quality and flavours our customers know and love. It’s not every day you see red velvet and cheesecake brought together like this — but when they are, the result is truly show‑stopping.
